Vacature omschrijving:
For this internship a period of anywhere between 3 - 6 months is required. You will be supporting the deputy director of the hotel. You will inform the guests about the services of the hotel and about the island, you will forward any complaints received to the respective department; you are to be attentive to the welfare of the guests and analyse the results of the hotel questionnaires. You are to prepare international correspondence, welcome the guests, you are to be very attentive to the VIP guests; you will run guided hotel tours and much much more.
You work 40 hours and have two days off per week, accommodation and meals are provided by the hotel free of charge and also pocket money of at least € 150 per month.
You have successfully completed your A-levels or are studying Communication Studies, Hotel Management, Business Administration or are about to finish a similar apprenticeship and you are planning to do an internship abroad in the hotel industry. If you decide to do an internship in PR/Quality, a friendly persona and self-confidence is a must. You are to do all in your power to fulfill the guests' wishes. When dealing with complaints you are to keep calm and deal with the guests in a diplomatic way. You enjoy caring for international guests and you know how to articulate. You are convincing with your eloquence. In this department, interns who already speak several languages and have at the very least a basic knowledge of the Spanish language are preferrable.
