Would you like to get your first professional and international experience in the hospitality industry, working where others go on vacation? Would you like the chance to improve your Spanish and enjoy in your spare time in the sun, at the beach and in the sea? Then this opportunity is for you! A 5 star hotel in Tenerife offers a vacant placement in the Reception Department.
Description:
Your duties in the reception area are: You welcome arriving guests, do the check in (computer registration) and provide information about the hotel's services. You will also answer incoming calls and pass them on; you inform about the island, deal with hotel reservations, show hotel rooms, and prepare correspondence to the guests. Furthermore you do translations in English and Spanish, pass on complaints, and fulfil the wishes of the guests. Later on you will generate hotel bills, arrange checkouts of departing guests, answer the phone, make reservations and many more jobs.
You work 40 hours and have two days off per week, accommodation and meals are provided by the hotel for free and also pocket money of at least € 150 per month. For more information, please visit our web page www.s-w-e-p.com.
You have completed successfully your A-levels or rather now studying with majors in Tourism/Hotel Management, Business Studies, Communication Sciences or find yourself in a Foreign Language education, Tourism Assistant, Hotel clerk etc., and you are looking for an internship abroad in the hotel sector. If you decide for an internship in the Reception Department, you should be very communicative and dealing with people in particular of different nationalities should be fun for you, a friendly and neat appearence is also natural for you. Your English is very good and in Spanish you can at least provide a basic knowledge.
